Air-type reactors, single-phase RTOS and three-phase RTST, are used as short-circuit current limiters in electrical systems of 6...220 kV. Current-limiting reactors have a high-linear volt-ampere characteristic due to the design without a magnetic core. They have natural air cooling, climatic design "Y", placement category "1", protection degree IP 00. Designed to replace concrete reactors.
